Ebru is the ancient Turkish art of marbling. Learn about the history, materials, set up and process in this hands on workshop! Colorful inks float on the surface of a viscous solution referred to as size. Designs in the ink are created using rakes and combs and are then transferred to paper. This process is active, fun and full of surprise. The vibrant and unique monoprints created in class can be used to make gifts, cards, collages, wrapping paper and books. All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and up
